About Botanique
Botanique Van De Vrombautshoeve Z is a 2019-born gelding bred by Stal Boelens, with an impressive pedigree of Bamako de Muze and Karioka del Follee.
Sporting Career
Although Botanique was only born in 2019, he has already proved that he is a horse with potential. He competes in national competitions for young horses and shows good technique, natural suppleness and an excellent mentality. Botanique is slowly but surely growing into his role as a sport horse and is being carefully prepared for higher levels.
In his first seasons, he performed strongly in young horse classes and managed to run several clear rounds at heights up to 1.20m. Given his bloodlines and initial performance, he is expected to progress to higher classes of showjumping in the coming years.
Dam's line
Sired by Karioka del Follee, Botanique's dam line is part of the famous BWP Prestatiestam 2. This line is one of the most respected lines within Belgian breeding and has produced a large number of top horses over the years.
- Karioka del Follee: A stallion who had an impressive international career with riders such as James Peeters and Philippe Lejeune. His highlights include 12th place at the CHIO in Aachen and second place at the Belgian Championships. As a sire, Karioka has passed on his qualities to his offspring, including several international jumpers.
- Oma van de Vrombautshoeve: This influential mare was not only successful in the sport (several wins at 1.30m level and national championships), but also in breeding. Her offspring are performing at a high level:
