About Nobel

Nobel van de Vrombautshoeve Z is a grey stallion, born on 12 July 2016 in Belgium. He is registered with the Zangersheide studbook and has a height of 1.74 metres. His pedigree combines the performance blood of Nabab de Rêve and Corrado I.

Sporting Career

Nobel started his career under the saddle of Peter Boelens and achieved a final place in the seven-year-olds at the World Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken in 2023. In the same year, he was sold to the Philippaerts family and Stephex Stables. Since then, he has been successfully competed at 1.45m level by Ludo and Olivier Philippaerts.

Dam's lineage

Nobel's dam, Caria, is an Oldenburg mare born in 1999. She is a daughter of Corrado I, a legendary Holstein stallion who was himself successful in international show jumping under Franke Sloothaak, with victories in the Grand Prix of Aarhus and Dortmund, among others. Corrado I has a great influence as a breeding stallion, with well-known offspring such as Clinton and Corradina.

Nobel's maternal line is particularly valuable. His grandmother, Gymnastique, is a Westphalian mare born in 1992, daughter of Grannus. Grannus was a Hanoverian stallion who himself jumped at 1.50m level and is known for his many successful offspring in show jumping. The great-grandmother, Pik Dame, is a Westphalian mare born in 1975, daughter of Paradox I. Pik Dame herself jumped at 1.45m level. This mare line is known as the Hanoverian Stutenstamm 2191810, also known as the Arzura line, and has produced several successful sport horses.
