About Godiva

Godiva van de Vrombautshoeve is a mare born in 2014, descended from the famous showjumping stallion Kannan, who achieved international success with his offspring. On the dam's side, she comes from the Holstein line of Chocolata, with strong sport genes from Connor and the famous Casall.

Sporting Career
Godiva currently runs 1m35 - 1m40 under the saddle of Peter Boelens and already showed nice courses in the 2* competition.

Dam's line
On the dam's side, Godiva descends from Chocolata, a Holstein mare from the well-known Holstein lineage 741. Chocolata, born in 2010, is a daughter of the stallion Connor (by Casall) and the mare Raute (by Quinar). Chocolata herself performed in the sport up to 1.30m level. Chocolata was ridden by Peter Boelens and Nina De Buck and showed her talent and work ethic in the sport.
Lineage 741 is a rich jumping family that has produced several top horses. Chocolata's dam, Raute, has produced, among others, the horses SIEC Carsten (1.60m jumping) and Corona (1.35m jumping). Chocolata herself has also proven to be a valuable broodmare, as her offspring, such as Godiva van de Vrombautshoeve, follow in the footsteps of their ancestors. Godiva performs at 1.45m level, showing that she has inherited the jumping qualities of both her sire Kannan and her dam Chocolata.
